Pride Resource Partners Hosts 2019 Holiday Party
Pride Resource Partners marked the closing of another successful year with their annual holiday party on Saturday, December 14, 2019. The celebration, which was held at Paradise Point Resort and Spa, hosted more than 80 guests, including Pride staff and business allies.
Guests mingled over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while enjoying the unique pleasure of viewing the Mission Bay Christmas Boat Parade of Lights from the private dockside deck. As the festivities moved indoors, Pride CEO Joe Maak took the floor to deliver a speech and presentation encompassing the history, vision, and forecasted growth of the company. Joe expressed tremendous gratitude and appreciation for not only the notable victories, but also the staff’s dedication to the day-to-day workload and deliverables.
Joe proceeded with an awards ceremony to recognize individuals who have demonstrated commitment, integrity, community, inclusion, and alignment with Pride’s core values throughout the year. The 2019 honorees are: Eric Lopez, Employee of the Year; Judith Senica, Peer Award; Sylvia Rangel-Volinsky, Peer Award; and Paul Pendergast of Pendergast Consulting Group, Ally Award.
The evening continued with a buffet dinner, desserts, and specially ordered wine from Pride Mountain Vineyards. Throughout the night, guests had opportunities to win raffle prizes of Southwest Airlines gift cards, Pride Mountain Vineyards wine, and a night’s stay at Paradise Point Hotel.
