Pride Resource Partners Continues Growth, Signs Contract with Pacific Gas & Electric

Today marks an exciting new chapter for Pride Resource Partners (PRP) with the signature of a contract with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) in Northern California. PRP will be part of a large team performing Drone Data Analysis on over 45,000 transmission structures to ensure there are no problems that can potentially start wildfires. This is the beginning of PRP’s relationship with PG&E and everyone at Pride is so very excited to be part of this project and the opportunity to work in new areas of California.

Pride Resource Partners began operation in 2015 after CEO and founder Mr. Joe Maak discovered a new LGBT certification that the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) had added. This program encourages utilities to work with minority-owned businesses. PRP received the certification and that allowed the firm to be entered into a supplier database that is accessed by multiple utilities statewide. Since those early days, the company has grown from having one employee to thirty-four.

This new achievement has required hard work and persistence in searching for new opportunities. PRP was founded on the belief that quality services can be provided by a company that is diverse and inclusive and we will continue to share this message as we grow.
